The first CWI Reserach Symposium was held on April 24, 2023. It attracted over 50 participants from academia and industries, featured two distinguished lectures, and had a graduate student flash talk competition. The inaugural speaker for the Rittmann Lecture is Dr. Lutgarde Raskin, Altarum/ERIM Russell O’Neal Professor and Vernon L. Snoeyink Distinguished University Professor, the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. The Inaugural speaker for the Abron Lecture is Dr. Russell Ford, Global Drinking Water & Reuse Solutions Director at Jacobs. The co-winners of the Flash Talk Competition are Jackie Rogers and Zixuan Wang.
